2022-2023 Theme

ENCOUNTERING JESUS IN THE EUCHARIST: HEALED, CONVERTED, FORMED AND UNIFIED…MISSIONED FORTH FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.

Why should I come? I am grown and already formed!

Pope Francis remarks:
"Faith always leads you out of yourself," Francis said. "Go out. The transmission of faith; faith must be transmitted, it must be offered, especially with testimony: Go, let people see how you live."
We are all called to continue to grow in our faith… if we do not, IT BECOMES STAGNANT.

Faith Surge One Programs Faith Surge Two Programs Faith Surge Three Programs

#1 RCIA CLASSES- Mondays, 6:30-7:30 pm in The Chapel in the Woods attached to the main church. All are welcome! Come renew your faith with those learning more about it! Contact Mrs. Pat Butler, RCIA Coordinator at pbutler@olow.org or 734-671-5101, ext. 108 and join the various sessions with our catechumens and/or candidates.

The RCIA schedule is spread throughout the parish academic year, but parishioners are invited to come and participate with the catechumens.  Look for the invitation on the adult faith formation page in the bulletin.

For those interested in becoming Catholic, or completing their Catholic formation.  Other parishioners are invited because the topics help us re-enforce our faith, and come to a better understanding of what God calls us to be, and how we develop as a member of the Body of Christ in our parish.

This course “digs down” to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events in the Old Testament, the Gospels and Apostolic teaching.

“The Lamb of God, “the Bread of the Life”, “the Body and the Blood of Christ”… these are phrase we know from the Mass. We will discover firsthand how Christ’s Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God’s plan for our salvation.
