Matthew is a fifth year student at Wayne State University studying music and French. He sings with the Wayne State University Concert Chorale under the direction of Dr. Norah Duncan IV. Matthew has been playing the piano for over 14 years and is currently studying under Dr. Robert Conway at Wayne State University. Matthew’s repertoire consists of everything from classical to jazz to contemporary vocal music to Broadway. Matthew is now the music and choir director at Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Woodhaven after having serving as music director at St. Jude Church in Detroit for four years. Before this Matthew has been apart of the music program at churches ranging from Rockwood to St. Clare Shores and everywhere in between. Matthew is well known in the Downriver theatre community also. He has been a part of Downriver theatre for over eleven years. He has music directed, vocal directed, conducted, and performed in many shows in these past years. Outside of doing music for theatrical productions he also performs independently.
