For the past 26 years, Pat has been the DRE at OLOW.  It has always been a ministry that she loves. Pat holds a Master's in Theological Studies from St. John's Seminary (now St. John's Family and Youth Center) as well as the highest certification level for DRE's in the Archdiocese of Detroit. This certifies her to train adults to be catechists. In her position as a Director of Religious Education, she oversees the religious formation program for ages 3 years old to 8th grade. This involves planning the activites for all the grade levels, recruiting and training catechists and assisting catechists with planning their classes. Actually, this ministry involves far more than that but these are some of the main responsibilities.

On a personal note, Pat has been married to her husband, Jim, for 36 years.  They have two grown children. The eldest, Matt, is married to Jennifer with two children, Jarrett and Adrienne. They are members of our parish and live in Brownstown. Pat and Jim's daughter, Laura, is married and living in a small town in Indiana. Pat and Jim also have a mutt named Daisy.
