Parish Finance Council

The Parish Finance Council is a vital part of the parish structure, guided by the principles of Catholic Canon Law and the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Here, we embrace our role in stewardship and the responsible management of parish resources.

  • Our Mission - As mandated by Canon 537, the Parish Finance Council serves as a consultative body to assist the pastor in overseeing and administering the financial affairs of the parish. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the wise stewardship of the gifts entrusted to us.
  • Guiding Principles - "The Christian faithful are obliged to assist with the needs of the Church so that the Church has what is necessary for divine worship, for the works of the apostolate and of charity, and for the decent support of ministers."
  • Our Responsibilities
    • Financial Oversight: Ensure that the parish's financial operations are conducted with integrity and in accordance with the Church's universal law.
    • Budgeting and Planning: Aid in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial planning.
    • Reporting: Provide the parish community with an understandable annual financial report, fostering a spirit of trust and collaboration.
